Soul Joy Records is based in Texas and has a vision and a plan to grow and become everything that God intends for it to be. Currently we have a number of artists representing Jesus Christ and utilizing many styles of music. 
The artist who we have chosen are here because of their dedication to their music and who see their music as a ministry. They have shown themselves to be mindful of their calling both on and off the stage. All of which have a dedication to the body of Christ and to all those they work with to represent Christ in a positive and nurturing manner. Consider one or more of these groups for your ministry needs. Just click on Soul Joy Artists  to the left. The styles are varied and the music ministry of each of these groups will be a blessing to you and to your church. Back when this all began I gave all the bands the opportunity to leave Soul Joy but they said they would rather stay because they were part of the family. I told them that they could leave at any point and none of them did. I pray that each of them accomplish what they Lord has placed on their heart. You will need to contact them individually since I am not in contact with all of them as much as I used to be.

It has been around 4 years since I was diagnosed with cancer and Ankylosing spondylitis which is an inflammatory disease that can cause some of the vertebrae in your spine to fuse together. This fusing makes the spine less flexible and can result in a hunched-forward posture. A severe case of ankylosing spondylitis can make it impossible for you to lift your head high enough to see forward. It has had a really bad effect on David and has severely limited his ability to work. But there is prayer and God's loving hand on my life. Cancer has been defeated and I want to give God all the glory. This past January 2011 I was admitted to a hospital and things looked very bad. Cancer was spread from my bladder to limp nods to around my thyroid and was also in my back and in the fluid around my stomach. The doctors were trying to get my wife to set up all the things that come with a person who would be soon passing. She refused to take that stand and even ran off one of the doctors. I want to praise God and thank God for my wife who would not give up. In the next couple of months through radiology and chemo all of the cancer was gone. I can tell that when I go to the hospital to visit it is amazing to many of the folks who remember me. I wish I could tell the whole story here but it would take to much time. Needless to say God is everything the bible says He is. My scripture that I stand on is Psalm 118:17 "I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord." I want to thank my family and friends who prayed and stood in agreement for my healing. God heard their prayers and victory is ours. My wife is in the healing ministry and I am always finding opportunity to pray for those who are fighting this same battle. If you are dealing with any disease please just believe and trust in God. He will bring you through just trust with all of your heart in Him. God bless you!

I am looking forward to the day when I will be back out on the road doing concerts with bands to reach out with the love of Christ with music here in Texas. I also still have the studio although it has not been used at all. It will be someday again. Soul Joy Records has been around for 10 years and we will continue the work God choose for us. It may not be in the way that I wanted and will require me to turn it over to my sons but I know that someday I will once again enjoy hearing music and watching people on the stage make a difference in the lives of others.
